Daffodil Rae is a 32-year-old author from Pennsylvania, growing up primarily in Washington, PA. Daughter of Raynard and Orissa, she attended and graduated from Washington High School. Rae, for short, has had a variety of careers and obtained different degrees throughout her life. She's worked as a photographer, in customer service and also has experience in caring for animals.

A number of television shows and books have influenced her and her writing, such as The Vampire Diaries, Lord of the Rings, Lucifer, the Harry Potter series, the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and a number of Ann Rice books. She's a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Manchester United. Rae enjoys video games and doing nail art in her free time. Along with her parents, her grandmother and great grandmother were big influences on her. Rae is married and currently resides in the Pittsburgh area.
